- While traveling be mindful of extreme temperature changes.
- Do not leave your instrument in a hot or cold vehicle for long periods of time.
- Wash your hands before handling or playing your instrument.
- Wipe down strings of rosin when you finish playing. Rosin buildup will cake up strings and affect the sound.
- Periodically wipe down instrument with a damp cloth soft cloth.
- Operate tuning pegs periodically to prevent freezing up in peg box.
- Keep back of bridge perpendicular to the top the instrument.
- You can replace your own strings, however it is recommended to replace one at a time to maintain the proper bridge location.
